Marketing a vendor-side integration

You can market vendor-side integrations in the Acronis catalogs by creating and deploying a ‘proxy’ CyberApp Description.

To market a vendor-side integration

  1. [If required] Follow the instructions in:

    1. Register as a partner.

    2. Access Vendor Portal.

    3. Create a CyberApp to act as a proxy for your vendor-side integration.

  2. Create a ‘proxy’ CyberApp Description.

  3. Provide content for the CyberApp Description.

  4. Request approval of your ‘proxy’ CyberApp Description.

  5. Publish the Cyberapp Description in the Acronis catalogs by creating a catalog-only deployment.
When you create a catalog-only deployment, the catalog card and details page are published to the integration catalogs, but the Configure button on the catalog card opens the website you specify in the Action button (Website) field of the CyberApp Description that you deploy.
  6. Acronis MSP partners can then enable and configure your vendor-side integration from the Integration catalog, so that they and/or their customers can use the functionality.

Important

You must use the Integration Management API to report when a partner tenant enables your integration.

This moves the integration to the INTEGRATIONS IN USE section of the integration catalog for the partner tenant.
Likewise, if a partner tenant disables your integration, you must report this for the integration to be removed from their INTEGRATIONS IN USE section.
For more information, see the Integration Management API chapter.
