Acronis-side (CyberApps)

Note

Acronis has prepared a CyberApp instructional video collection.

Definition

Acronis-side integrations are integrations of 3rd-party online software products or services with Acronis systems, accessed by Acronis tenant partners through Acronis Cyber Platform. As such, they add a new solution to Acronis Cyber Platform and expand its functionality.
Cyberapps can extend functionality in multiple ways.
For example, they can:
  • Provide a dedicated page or section to manage the ISV service configuration.

  • Manage the ISV’s endpoint agents - list the devices with agents, display their attributes and execute commands.

  • Configure the ISV’s endpoint agents as a part of the unified Protection Plan.

  • Reuse and extend alerts management functionality by submitting alerts generated in the ISV service to Acronis Cyber Platform.

  • Display reports and visualize the data provided by the ISV service in the Acronis Cyber Platform UI.

Development

Acronis-side integrations which have been developed in accordance with CyberApp Standard, using Vendor Portal are called CyberApps.

Note

Some existing Acronis-side integrations were developed prior to the release of Vendor Portal, and are therefore not CyberApps. However, all new Acronis-side integrations are CyberApps.

Marketing

Acronis partners see CyberApps in the Acronis integration catalog, from where they can enable, configure, and use them like native Acronis services.
