Creating an alert category

Alert categories are used to group alerts of the same nature.

To create an alert category

  1. Open the alert type list.

  2. Open an alert type by selecting it.

  3. Click the Category dropdown and select Create new category.

  4. Enter an Alert category name.

  5. [Optional] Enter a Comment.

  6. Specify a unique Identifier for the alert category.

    Note

    Take note of the CTI.
    This is required to send alerts with this category.
  7. Click Create.
