Identifying your CyberApp type

Start by considering what type of CyberApp you are going to build.

There are three types:

  • Inbound

  • Outbound

  • Custom

To identify your CyberApp type

  1. Start by considering the following questions:

    Will your CyberApp bring data from your service to Acronis Cyber Platform?
    If it will, then your CyberApp will be inbound.

    Will your CyberApp support single sign-On (SSO)?
    If it will, then your CyberApp will be outbound.

    Will your CyberApp fetch data from Acronis Cyber Platform to process in your service?
    If it will, then your CyberApp will be outbound.

  2. If the answers to these questions do not provide a conclusion, consider the following examples to see if your situation is similar in some way:

    Inbound CyberApp example
    Oubound CyberApp example
    Custom CyberApp example
