Creating an alert category

Alert categories are used to group alerts of the same nature.

To create an alert category

  1. Open the Version.

  2. Select Alerts from the left-hand menu.

  3. Open an alert type by selecting it.

  4. Click the Category dropdown and select Create new category.

  5. Enter a category name.

  6. Enter a category description.

  7. Specify a unique Code for your alert category and take note of the CTI.


    This is required to send alerts with this category.

  8. Click Create.
