Introduction to CyberApps

Note

Acronis has prepared a collection of CyberApp instructional videos.

Definition

Inbound integrations are integrations of 3rd-party online software products or services with Acronis systems, accessed by Acronis tenant partners through Acronis Cyber Platform. As such, they add a new solution to Acronis Cyber Platform and expand its functionality.
Cyberapps can extend functionality in multiple ways.
For example, they can:
  • Provide a dedicated page or section to manage the ISV service configuration.

  • Manage the ISV’s endpoint agents - list the devices with agents, display their attributes and execute commands.

  • Configure the ISV’s endpoint agents as a part of the unified Protection Plan.

  • Reuse and extend alerts management functionality by submitting alerts generated in the ISV service to Acronis Cyber Platform.

  • Display reports and visualize the data provided by the ISV service in the Acronis Cyber Platform UI.

CyberApps are presented within the Acronis Cyber Platform. In order to maintain Acronis-level security and UX consistency, they must adhere to CyberApp Standard. Acronis partners find, enable, and configure CyberApps through the Acronis integration catalogs. You develop, manage, and deploy CyberApps using the Vendor Portal.
